Do you have a builder or designer?

Yes: (1) Need their contact information.  (2) Will they be providing design/layout? or will we provide a design?

1. If they will be providing a design, please send that information when it is ready and we can provide preliminary figures based off their design. Once we have preliminary figures together, we will send you a quote. If approved we will schedule a time for you to come to our showroom and make selections. After you make your selections we will update the pricing and order the cabinets upon your approval and payment.
2. If we will be providing a design, we will need to set up a time to visit the jobsite to take measurements and meet with the builder/designer to discuss the scope of work and get an idea of what services Defined Spaces Cabinetry will be providing. (Note: Defined Spaces does not offer turn-key kitchen renovation services, only cabinet sales and installation. If you need turn-key renovation and project management services, we recommend visiting our parent company Prince & Sons, Inc. and inquiring about their services.)

No: Do you plan on hiring a Builder? Designer? Or Do you intend to manage your own project?

1. Yes, I plan on hiring a builder: We can certainly meet you at your home, take measurements and help you start to design your new space before you settle on a builder. We can also generate designs and prepare your permit drawings if you will be requiring them. We do recommend hiring a licensed General Contractor especially for work over $40,000 as the law requires a GC at that cost threshold. Once you settle on a builder, we would like to get their contact information and have an open line of communication before we order cabinets, just to prevent any discrepancies, and to determine the full scope.
2. Yes, I plan on hiring a designer: If you are going to hire a designer we recommend making that connection before we do anything. You are welcome to come browse our showroom, but a designer will have their own process and it will be best to consult with them first and we can fall in however they prefer. Depending on the designers experience with cabinetry, we can provide our own drawings or work off of theirs.

I will manage my own project: If you will be overseeing or self-performing your renovation/project, we can help you with your design and install the cabinetry. We can also provide you with your cabinetry, deliver it to your house, and leave the installation to you!

Do you have clients that are in need of cabinetry or are you interested in learning more about our services for future/prospective clients?

I have a client in need of cabinetry: We would be happy to meet with you and your client, just you, or just your client. Either way is fine with us. If you know you’ll be referring a client, please let us know in advance so we can make the proper arrangements. Every builder has their own process, so communicating with us in advance will help us help you! We can provide any drawings and design services you may need. If you already have a design/ cabinet layout we can work directly from that or we can take our own measurements. We do offer a builder& Designer discounts, so please let your clients know to tell us they are working with you!

I’m interested in learning more for future clients: Developing a long-lasting relationship with builders and designers is one of our primary goals, so we will be more than happy to meet with you to introduce you to our cabinet lines and their offerings. We can also provide you with color blocks, samples, and catalogs if you want to have them for your meetings away from Defined Spaces’ showroom. We do have to charge for the color block set but if you plan on renovating a lot of kitchens & Bathrooms, it may be worth it to have a set of colors and stains.
